No-Bake Easter Rice Krispie Treats are the perfect dessert to celebrate Springtime. Adorable, delicious and easy to make, these are the perfect sweet treat.
Springtime is finally here and there are pastel color explosions everywhere you look. The weather is beautiful, the sun is shining and it is almost time to break out the flip flops. It’s also time to celebrate this amazing time of year with my No-Bake Easter Rice Krispie Treats.
We all know that classic recipe, add in melted marshmallow with that crispy rice cereal that talks to you and you have one of everyone’s favorite sweet treat. How could you possibly improve on such a classic recipe?
Easy! … add chocolate and frosting!!
I am just adding in these extras to make an already amazing treat that much better. This is that one dessert treat that never lasts long in my house. Seriously, I can make a huge pan and I blink and it seems like the entire pan of treats has taken flight and disappeared. These No-Bake Easter Rice Krispie Treats are adorable, delicious and super easy to make. The kids will love both helping you in the kitchen and devouring their amazing creations.

- 5 tbl butter , melted
- 16 oz bag of marshmallows
- 1 tbl vanilla
- 1 12 oz box of rice cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate morsels
- 11 oz bag of chocolate candy coated pieces
- Decorating Icing .. easily squeezed and found in the cake decorating section of your local grocery or craft store... or you can melt colored candy disks and drizzle over top with a fork
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat
Once butter is melted, add in marshmallows and vanilla and stir constantly until marshmallows are completely melted
In a VERY large bowl, pour in rice cereal and then pour melted marshmallows on top of the cereal and immediately mix until all is well combined and the cereal is completely coated
Stir in white chocolate morsels and chocolate candy pieces until evenly dispersed
Completely cover bottom / sides of a 13x9 pan pan with parchment paper
Pour cereal into the pan and using your fingers or a spatula lightly coated with non-stick spray or cooking oil, press the cereal down until even
Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour then remove from refrigerator and drizzle frosting (or melted candy disks) in a pleasing pattern over the entire pan of treats
Return to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes
Serve immediately .. left overs can be kept fresh in an air-tight container
