These Easy Slow Cooker Pork Chops are fork tender, tasty and smothered in a rich creamy onion sauce. You will never over cook pork chops again!
If I had to name a nemesis living in my kitchen, it would probably be pork chops. Not THIS Porkchop (#3yearoldtoddlerfromhell)….
…. I mean, regular good old fashioned, ‘other white meat’ pork chops. I usually over cook them and they are dry. Then I swing the other way and in the attempt to not over cook them, they are too pink and scary. Then we swing back to the over cooked side. Around and around and around, we go! Brining them definitely helps but sometimes you get home late from work or from picking up the kids and you don’t have time / energy / ambition to brine your chops for five minutes, let alone an hour.
And contrary to popular belief, you CAN produce leather like pork chops in a slow cooker.
In the every day attempt to eat healthier, I keep trying to make an amazing pork chop dinner and every time I get sent back to the drawing board.
Until … NOW!!!!
This recipe for Easy Slow Cooker Pork Chops came out better than I could have ever hoped. It may not be the healthiest way to eat pork but it sure is the tastiest!! The meat just falls apart and it’s smothered in an onion based sauce with garlic and cream and pepper, oh my!! Serve these Easy Slow Cooker Pork Chops over a heaping mound of mashed potatoes and you have the perfect picture of comfort food.
